The juiciest burger I've ever had!! So juicy to the point where the juice squirted out and filled up my spoon! We also got the PEI mussels, kale salad and clam bugatini. Loved the spicy sauce with the PEI mussels. The kale salad was a little warm but taste was good. Would not recommend the clam bugatini as it's was way too salty.

I think 4.3/5. Ambiance is great, speedy service, and wine list is approachable. I wouldn't say the burger is worth trekking for, but this place fits perfectly in a day trip itinerary if you ever feel like taking the ferry to go to Red Hook. I like that the cheese burger is loyal to the classic recipe with American cheese and onion. Even though I chickened and got medium doneness, the pepper crusted beef patty still came super juicy and with a little pleasant funk (enzymes from dry aging). I wasn't the biggest fan of the buns as they resemble those almost stale bread buns from random diners...wish they had cheated with a more buttery option.

The service is fast and polite, drink prices are good for the area, and the food is quite good. We'll start with the good. The ham croquettes are quite tasty, with a wonderful sauce with a taste of horseradish. The French onion soup was amazing. The burger is among the best steakhouse style burgers in the city. It has a distinct dry aged flavor, and is perfectly juicy. The weakest dish of the day was the prime rib beef on weck, it was advertised as being medium rare towards medium, it came cooked a heavy medium, if not well done, and was only ok.

Really good burger, but not sure it lives up to the hype (or the price point). I prefer the burger at PL's.
